I’ve been a writer for most of my life, including my  years as an actress when I wrote freelance articles in my spare time. Like my protagonist, Kate Sachs,  I know what it’s like to be a struggling actress, having appeared on stage and in dozens of soap operas and movies as an extra.

Unlike Kate, I never landed a starring role on television, so to make a living, I started a consulting firm specializing in training (with a theatrical flair!)  and corporate communications. But that gypsy in my soul, as a friend dubbed my creative muse, was only in hiding. She popped out one day and refused to leave me alone. Deadly Play is the result of her persistence. I live in Fairfield County, CT with my husband and daughter, and am working on a sequel.
